HOLLY HILLS PLACEMAKING
I collaborated with a team of designers and community leaders to develop a cohesive placemaking identity for the Holly Hills neighborhood in South St. Louis, Missouri. Inspired by the glamour of 1920s Hollywood, the project included the creation of a neighborhood identity, banner system, and entry markers that celebrate the area’s unique character.
Holly Hills is known for its jewel-toned stained glass details and picturesque, tree-lined streets. These elements informed an identity rooted in rich color and Art Deco influences, woven consistently throughout the system. The design is especially vibrant in daylight, where the layered colors and forms come to life, reinforcing a sense of place and neighborhood pride.
